Day 1

GETTING TO FLORES & TIKAL

We will pick you up from your hotel in Guatemala city , setting the stage for an exciting journey. Rise early, as a flight to Flores awaits at 5:45 AM from the Aurora Airport.

Upon arriving in Flores, we’ll be waiting for you at the airport with a personalized sign. But before we embark on our adventure, we’ll savor a typical breakfast at a local eatery, gearing up for the day ahead.

Next, our private tour of Tikal commences. Accompanied by one of our expert guides, you’ll explore the most iconic corners of this archaeological site. You’ll travel back in time, understanding how Tikal was once the epicenter of the Maya civilization, full of political intrigue and conquests.

Tikal is much more than history; it’s a UNESCO-recognized natural park. Here, you’ll have the chance to spot a variety of birds, monkeys, and revel in the majesty of its ancient trees.

We’ll return to the charming island of Flores for overnight.

FLORES ISLAND ON YOUR OWN

Free morning to enjoy Florest colorful town on your own pace!

You can go for a walk around or maybe take a nice coffee in one of the restaurants in front of the lake Peten. You can also take a boat for a short ride around the island or simply relax with some shooping prior your transfer to Mundo Maya Airport for your return flight to Guatemala. Then 1 hour flight back to Guatemala City , transfer to your hotel END OF THE SERVICES
