We will pick up you at your hotel in Otavalo, then we will transfer you towards to San Pablo Lake, where our activity start. You will learn how the local communities make kayaks out the famous Totora plant that exist all over the lake.
After this, our kayaker (Guide) will provide you the safety talk, making sure you have all the equipment prior going to the water.
It is ok if you are not experienced Kayaker or not good swimmer, we will make sure you will have a fantastic experience. The paddling time will go according your skills and your interest. Along the way it is still possible to see some birds like cormorants, Andean gulls or sandpipers and many other species.
It is also the opportunity for taking photos of unique landscapes, then return to the same pier and enjoy the delicious snack in front of Imbabura volcano. Finally, our transportation will take you back to Otavalo town.
