Transfer in International flight to Quito , You’ll spend the night in Quito.

You will enjoy a Full-Day Tour of the city of Quito, which is the capital city of Ecuador, and sits at an elevation of 9,350 feet above sea level.  Quito is located 16 miles south of the equator, and extends to zero latitude, which is known locally as la Mitad Del Mundo or, the middle of the world.

If after the sightseeing of Quito city, you would like to explore the area around the hotel by yourself, we recommend to you the malls like Quicentro Shopping or just walk around Carolina´s park.

Hotel Dann Carlton.

On this day, you will travel to the Amazon Jungle. This region includes territory belonging to Brasil, Perú, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Guyana, and French Guyana. The Amazon represents over half of the plant’s remaining rainforests.

A full day of activities in the Amazon Jungle awaits you, including some amazing sightseeing such as the Indian Village and a canoe ride on the Napo River!

It will be  day of adventure walking  2 miles approx. through the hotel Primary Forest called MisiCocha ( the Cat´s Lake ).

Then in the afternoon, we will let you try the famous drink based on Yuca o Cassava and you will have the opportunity to interact with the local people.

The jungle lodge is located 160 miles away from Quito city , in Napo province. It is really a hidden paradise in the middle of the nature.

Hotel Casa del Suizo.

After breakfast, our journey continue towards the Route of the Waterfalls, famous for more than 30 water jumps that run down from the Eastern Andes. It is simple to guess how many stops we will do on the way…!!

Then you will travel to the city of Baños.  This city is a Roman Catholic religious center, as it has been declared that the Virgin Mary appeared here near a waterfall. After a brief stop in town, we will continue on to Riobamba.

This morning, you will board your car on the Ecuadorian Railway to ride the famous track called ” The Devil's Nose ” one of the most difficult railways to be  built for the topography and weather conditions.

As we travel to the city of Cuenca, you will view volcanic cones jutting forth from the rich tapestry of grasslands, aptly christened “The Avenue of the Volcanoes”.

In the morning, we will visit Cuenca City (declared a Cultural Heritage Site in 1999 by UNESCO).

The most representative sites in Cuenca are: Calderon Park (Central Square), the Modern and Old Cathedrals, the Flower Market, and Largo Street with its colonial houses, all of which are unforgettable.

We will also visit the Tomebamba River and the Broken Bridge, since they are famous landmarks. Of course an attraction impossible to skip is the Ethnographic Museum (Museo de las Culturas Aborígenes).  The Ethnographic Museum is a must-see because of its unique art collection from across the country.

During this afternoon, you will experience a beautiful flight across the Andes back to Quito city.
