Once you arrive in Ecuador, our local guide will be waiting for you at the airport to give you a warm welcome. From there, you’ll be transferred in private transportation to your selected hotel, where you can rest and recover from your journey. Along the way, the guide will give you a brief introduction to the city and answer any initial questions you may have. You'll spend the night at the hotel, getting ready for the adventure that begins the next day.

Early in the morning, the city tour begins at the Panecillo viewpoint, where you can admire Quito’s wonders from above. The tour continues with a two-hour walk to explore the highlights of the old city, including the San Francisco Church, Compañía de Jesús Church, and Sagrario Church, located on “Calle de las Siete Cruces” (Garcia Moreno Street). Next, the visit will take you to the Presidential Palace lobby at Quito’s main square. The tour proceeds to the first Gothic church of Ecuador, the tallest in the city, offering another stunning viewpoint to observe the famous “Avenue of the Volcanoes.”
Afterward, the journey will lead to the Equator Site to explore the renowned Inti Ñan Museum (The Trail of the Sun), where you can learn about the Equator line and even stand right in the middle of the world. A traditional lunch will follow at a local restaurant. Finally, the group will return to the hotel for the evening.

After breakfast, the journey will begin towards Imbabura Province, with several stops along the way for photo opportunities.
The drive will continue to the Otavalo Indian Market, where you will have time to explore the local crafts, such as blankets, sweaters, shirts, and wall hangings made from llama and alpaca wool. You will also have the opportunity to visit the fruit and vegetable market and stroll through this charming and scenic town.
Following the market visit, the tour will head to Cotacachi, known as "The Leather Town," where lunch will be served in one of the typical local restaurants. Finally, the visit will include a stop at Cuicocha Crater Lake before returning to Quito for an overnight stay.

After breakfast we will drive towards Cotopaxi National Park, which consists of 99,000 acres, and has a large variety of trails, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, and, of course, it’s Volcano, which will captivate you with its majesty and beauty.
In the area of the lagoon, Limpiopungo, at 12,700 feet, you will find an enormous diversity of flora and fauna – it is also possible to hike around the lagoon´s shore, where native birds of the Andes are plentiful.
Then we will drive higher up to Cotopaxi Staging Area, at 14,850 feet. In the Staging Area, it is often possible to admire a condor in flight. From this point it is possible to climb to the basecamp.
Finally we will arrive to the hotel for overnight in Baños.

Early in the morning, we will take mountain bikes and pedal down to the Avenue of the Waterfalls. Along the way, you have the option to cross the River Canyon on a zip line or take the cable car to admire the stunning scenery.
We will then continue to the village of Rio Verde, where the magnificent Pailón del Diablo waterfall is located. The water for this waterfall flows from the Llanganates National Park, to fully appreciate the impressive water drop.
Afterward, we will take some time for lunch, and finally, head back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Riobamba.
(Note: On this day, you can also combine other activities such as water rafting, canyoning, hiking, or a motor tour. These activities can be enjoyed before visiting the waterfalls, as they are located on the way back to the hotel.)

During the tour, we will visit the picturesque town of Alausí, known for its charming colonial architecture, colorful houses, and friendly atmosphere, all nestled in the scenic Andes. Alausí has been declared a National Heritage town and is a great place to experience the cultural richness of Ecuador’s highlands.
If your travel date falls on Wednesday through Sunday, you’ll have the chance to experience the famous attraction the Train ride from Alausi to Sibambe. It is an impressive engineering feat with dramatic views and zigzag tracks carved into the mountains.
The entire ride is breathtaking, and you will definitely admire the beautiful scenery which demonstrates the ethnic and natural richness of the country. On the final section of tracks, you will experience what is known as the Devil’s Nose, where the actual shape of the mountain is similar to a nose.
After the visit, we’ll traslate to the hotel in Cuenca to Overnight.

In the morning, we left early for, Cuenca City, which was declared a Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999. The city’s most representative sites include Calderón Park (the Central Square), the Modern and Old Cathedrals, the Flower Market, and Larga Street with its colonial houses, all of which are truly unforgettable. We will also visit the Tomebamba River and the famous Broken Bridge, both iconic landmarks of the city.
An essential stop is the Ethnographic Museum (Museo de las Culturas Aborígenes), which showcases a unique collection of art from across the country. Afterward, we will begin our journey to Guayaquil, with stops along the way to admire the breathtaking views of both the Andes and the Coastal regions.

On this final day of your journey, our guide will drive you back to Guayaquil’s international airport in private transportation, ensuring you arrive with plenty of time to check in and prepare for your flight home.
