With the discovery tour GalaPicchu Insiders 10 Days Tour , you have a 10 day tour package taking you from Quito to Lima and through Quito, Ecuador and 11 other destinations in Latin America. GalaPicchu Insiders 10 Days Tour is a small group tour that includes accommodation as well as an expert guide, meals, transport and more.
Day 1
ARRIVAL DAY TO QUITO
This is the arrival day for all of our tour participants, depending of your flights you can have a day exploring one of the UNESCO heritage sites in the world (Quito’s Old Town) or simply rest at the Hotel before our Tour Guide meet you at the Lobby at 6:30 pm for our orientation meeting and briefing before the starting of the tour. During this meeting you can clarify everything as you might be concerned or curious to know about the overall tour. For the day, we can also assist you arranging a full day in Quito or surroundings if you let us know in advance.
THIS TOUR NORMALLY OPERATES FROM QUITO , HOWEVER YOU CAN ALSO START IN GUAYAQUIL, IF SO PLEASE LET US KNOW IN ADVANCE.

Day 2
FLIGHT TO SAN CRISTOBAL - GALAPAGOS
Early flight from Quito to San Cristobal - Galapagos ,Upon arrival you will be transfer to the hotel in town , then you will start a nice kayak tour to Tijeretas hill ( Darwin’s first Landing) at Tijeretas hill you can admire the Bay also Frigatte birds and Blue Footted Bobbies fliying around the clifs. At the end of the kayak tour , you can walk to relax near by the sea lions at Playa Man enjoying the landscapes from the beach with a nice sunset. Finally back to the hotel.

Day 3
KICKER ROCK TOUR
Today includes some of the best snorkeling in Galapagos, a day trip to Kicker Rock! After breakfast, a comfortable speed boat navigates along the coast of San Cristobal, boasting views of the birds and landscape from a different angle. At the rock formation, we’ll snorkel thru the channel in search of a variety of sharks, fish, turtles, rays, sea lions, and more! Enjoy a box lunch on the boat afterward, and some quiet beach time to relax before returning to town.

Day 4
SANTA CRUZ ISLAND
Today you will take a speed boat towards Puerto Ayora , Santa Cruz Island ( it will take 2 hours approx.) Then you will get to the hotel for check in , after the guide will take you to Charles Darwin Research Station ( this is the most important research center of the entire Galapagos ) Then you will have some time to enjoy the town and have a quick lunch before the next activity.
Then our Guide will take you to visit a Tortoise Ranch in the highlands of Santa Cruz , where you will see a very big land wild tortoises in natural state.
The rest of the afternoon free to wonder around the Puerto Ayora town or maybe you can visit Las Grietas & the German beach ( on your own )
Maybe a walk to visit Tortuga Bay ( on your own)
Finally you will return back to town for overnight…
Tonight Advise : Don’t miss eating at the QUIOSKOS street a very fresh lobster and many different tipe of sea food caught in the morning. Also go at night to the Pier , where you can see babbie sharks , rays and many other animals very close.

Day 5
BARTOLOME ISLAND TOUR
This tour will start early from twon , then a bus ride towards Itabaca Canal where you will board the yatch for this excursion.
This program includes sightseeing , hike , snorkel , snorkel equiptment , lunch on board and much more.
Finally you will be taken back to Puerto Ayora for your last night at the Galapagos
Bartolome:
The little island Bartolome is very small and 114m high situated close to Santiago Island. When the volcano that formed Bartolomé erupted, there was not any water present resulting in large amounts of basalt on this island (when water is present in an eruption tuff is created). The basalt hardened together with air creating very light rocks.
Bartolome’s surface is covered with volcanic ash, which is suposed to be blown over from Santa Cruz Island. The island consists of an extinct volcano and volcanic formations in a variety of red, orange, green, and glistening black.
Pinnacle Rock is the eroded remains of a tuff cone. This large partially eroded lava formation was created when magma expelled from the volcano reached the sea. When the seawaters cooled, the hot lava caused an explosion. The exploded particles eventually fasten together forming a rock composed of thin layers. Bartolome's Pinnacle Rock has become one of the most photographed sights in the islands. As a prominent landmark it was used as a target for US military during World War II (you can still see the bullet holes). Galapagos Penguins are living behind the rock. A small submerged crater can be seen just offshore. To the east you can see a series of small spatter cones. Lying beside the Pinnacle Rock are twin half moon shaped beaches. On the northern one (wet landing) you are allowed to swim and snorkel. Don’t miss that!

Day 6
FLIGHT BACK TO GUAYAQUIL - FLIGHT TO LIMA
Early in the morning you will flight back to Guayaquil’s International Airport for your flight to Lima.
Upon your arrival, one of our Peru Guides will meet you at the Airport to take you to the hotel in downtown Lima for overnight.

Day 7
FLIGHT TO CUSCO - CITY TOUR
Early flight to Cusco City , upon arrival you will be transfer to the hotel for resting and getting used to the Altitud.
In the afternoon, you will go on a tour around the City well known as the Capital of INCAS and for all its treasures.
You will visit the centric part of Cusco and also several Inca Temples such as : Koricancha, Saqsayhuaman, Q’enqo and Tambomachay. Finally back to the Hotel for overnight.

Day 8
SACRED VALLEY TOUR - AGUAS CALIENTES
In the morning you will go on tour to the famous Sacret Valley at Urubamba valley : we will visit Ruins Pisac, Urubamba & Ollantaytambo Temple.
Buffet lunch at Tunupa´s Restaurant in Urubamba
Then you will take the Train Expedition from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes
Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Day 9
MACCHU PICCHU TOUR - BACK TO CUSCO
Early in the morning we will transfer you to take the bus , that will take you with the our Guide to the most beautiful Archeological complex known as Machu Picchu or Montana Sagrada , at this point you will have a guided tour through the site.
You will have plenty of time to get best picture for memories.
After this you will be taken back to Aguas Calientes , where you can enjoy the town on your own visiting the markets around. Then you will take the Train back to Cusco for overnight, Enjoy the memorial views of the Andes !!!

Day 10
FLIGHT BACK TO LIMA - CITY TOUR
Early morning flight to Lima , then our expert guide we'll take you to a fascinating walking tour around our historical center. It's different as classic and unique, we will show you Palaces and castles our city hides, we are also going to take you to our great Saint Francisco Monastery and the impressive underground Catacombs!
